Global Fundamental Data Coverage Continues to Grow

Morningstar's equity database teams have been working diligently to expand coverage in the past 12 months. We currently have fundamental data on more than 25,000 global companies, with the goal of expanding that to 34,000 by the end of 2009.

We have complete fundamental coverage in major markets including the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. We also cover all ADR stocks that are listed on the NYSE, Nasdaq, AMEX, and OTC bulletin board.

In the past six months, we have expanded our coverage in Asia, South Africa, and Latin America. The specific countries we've focused on include Singapore, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, and Brazil. This expands our coverage to five continents.

By the end of 2009, we will also have fundamental data for companies traded on exchanges in Japan, Korea, India, Pakistan, and the Middle East.

We will continue to actively grow our equity database coverage, and are open to client suggestions for future areas of emphasis.
